A Collaborative Milestone for Advisory Agrihub: Successful Testing Day on April 30

May 12, 2025

April 30 marked a significant milestone for the Advisory Agrihub initiative, a European effort aimed at fostering cross-domain collaboration among agricultural advisors. With a vision to dismantle traditional silos and create a shared space for knowledge exchange, the initiative is steadily gaining momentum.

On this day, 23 advisors from across Europe — including Spain, Greece, Portugal, Austria, Bulgaria, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands, the UK, Finland, and Ireland — came together for a vital platform testing session. This collaborative meeting focused on evaluating the Inventory component of the Advisory Agrihub platform, offering a chance to validate its architecture, functionality, and visual design.

Participants represented a wide range of domains, including Integrated Pest Management (IPM), Livestock, Fertiliser and Plant Nutrition, and Forestry. Their diverse expertise provided rich, actionable feedback.

Through live platform testing, each advisor explored the Inventory module, highlighting what features they found most valuable, as well as identifying areas that need improvement. Their insights have laid the groundwork for the next phase of development.

The session concluded on a positive note, with broad validation of the platform’s concept and structure. While several pain points were identified, they are now being prioritized for resolution in the coming weeks — a crucial step forward in ensuring the platform meets the real-world needs of advisors across the EU.

This successful event reflects the growing strength of the Advisory Agrihub network and underscores our commitment to building a truly collaborative digital space for agricultural innovation.
