In Year 2 of the AdvisoryNetPEST (ANP) project, the cross-visits will begin, offering National Networks an invaluable opportunity to exchange knowledge, engage with new practices, and provide feedback that shapes sustainable agriculture across Europe.
What Are Cross-Visits All About?
The cross-visits have a clear purpose: to share knowledge and collect feedback on novel approaches (NA) to reduce pesticide use in farming. Over the next three years, National Network Leaders (NNLs) from 14 participating countries will host these visits, mainly within their regional clusters, with each NNL responsible for organising one cross-visit per year. 42 cross-visits will take place, offering a robust platform for collaboration and mutual learning among advisors and farmers.
Each cross-visit lasts two days and follows a structured approach adapted from the Horizon 2020 NEFERTITI project. While the structure provides a reliable framework, there’s room for flexibility based on the specific context of each visit.
